Shadawn Sharie Burks is a minister, prophetic encourager, author, entrepreneur, and devoted mother whose life reflects the restoring power of God. Her journey has been shaped by seasons that required courage, healing, and complete surrender. Through experiences of rejection, heartbreak, rebuilding, and learning to trust God in difficult moments, Shadawn discovered that the places meant to break us are often the very places where God forms our calling.
With a heart for those navigating grief, emotional wounds, spiritual warfare, and seasons of transition, Shadawn ministers with a blend of truth, compassion, and spiritual insight. Her teaching meets people where they are while guiding them toward the healing and freedom found in Christ. She often reminds others that God teaches us how to fight in the dark so we can help lead others into the light.
Shadawn Burks Ministries was birthed from a season of consecration and obedience when God called her to pour into others carrying unseen battles. Today the ministry serves as a place of encouragement and restoration for those seeking healing, clarity, and a deeper relationship with God. Through devotionals, prayer, teaching, and prophetic encouragement, Shadawn helps people break unhealthy cycles, strengthen their prayer lives, and step confidently into the purpose God has placed within them.
Before stepping fully into ministry, Shadawn worked across corporate and healthcare settings including clinical coordination, insurance services, payroll, and client-centered care. She holds an Associate of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Georgia Military College and is also a licensed aesthetician and entrepreneur committed to promoting wholeness spiritually, physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Above everything, Shadawn treasures her role as a mother to her two sons, Cameron and Tyler, who remain a daily reminder of God’s faithfulness across generations.
Today, Shadawn teaches, writes, prays, mentors, and speaks wherever God opens the door. Her mission is simple: to help people encounter God in the raw places of their lives and step into the healing, freedom, and purpose that awaits them on the other side.
